Processing of traditional film involves a lot of chemicals and liquids which can be legally poured down the drain.  Digital removes all of that & reduces the likelyhood of ever losing an X-ray film from storage.

We have access to a miniature video camera called an intra-oral camera which allows us to show you your teeth on a plasma TV.  This is vitally important to help you understand every aspect of your dental condition. We can show you how your tooth has cracked, or chipped, or how your silver filling is looking. We can then create a better relationship and teamwork in planning your care and you'll have a better understanding of what we're talking about so you can make real-informed decisions.

For your comfort and ease, each treatment room is equipped with two flat screen LCD televisions – one mounted on the dental chair and the other in the ceiling!

These flat screen monitors provide both entertainment and patient education to help explain your dental needs. You can watch a DVD, cable television or even listen to your favourite CD during your dental procedure. It’s so comfortable you may not want to leave!

CariesScan is a device which helps our clinicians measure for the presence of decay which may be invisible to the human eye.

By sending a special electrical signal through the decayed area, a reading can be obtained to help the diagnosis.  This helps us deliver proactive and preventative dentistry.  It allows us to detect decay early before it has caused significant damage and allows us to identify larger holes that may be occurring under the surface of the teeth.
